The Prelude

Far-off from where I am
In the little hamlet and the little hut
That wait me to settle down forever;
My better-half ends and begins the Year
Attending her maize-field and chilly-orchard;
For she firmly believes and reasons the same way:
We now move to an era when lazybones and spongers,
Gossipmongers, hatemongers, preceptors and preachers
Or those whom the world does not call doers and makers
Will be more dangerously contagious than the Corona virus!
