I cannot absolutely demonize someone today
For a proven pitfall;
And adamantly deify them tomorrow
For an unproven idiosyncrasy;
My convictions do not falter
At the slightest error
In my judgment of idiots!
I love to remain oblivious
About how I look,
I want to give no heed
About how you see me;
I do not mind being hated
For hating narcissists!
I am a misfit in the regime of camaraderie
That stands on flattery and sycophancy;
Sorry, folks, for these demerits
I wait to be evicted without prior notice
From the regiment of chicken hearts
That flinch at the most puerile quibbles!
